The late Ed Galing was born in 1917, spent his early years in the Lower East Side of New York City, and has been widely published in the small press.
Erin E. Stead is the illustrator of many picture books, including A Sick Day for Amos McGee, for which she won the Caldecott medal, the acclaimed And Then It’s Spring (four starred reviews), If You Want to See a Whale (three starred reviews), and most recently Lenny & Lucy.
